How Did I Get Here

Go from this to:

To This!!

Life's journey is never a straight path.  It seems that I always find myself on trails, even if they are rabbit trails before coming back to the path that leads to the road on which I should be traveling to get to my destination.  Flawless Faces has arrived through such rabbit trails.  I have always had an interest in makeup artistry and have been involved with the application of glamour products for twenty years.  Some of my first clientele are now married and have children of their own.  I was blessed with one son and three daughters on which I had some practice on the girls.  I could never convince my son to wear hair products in order to tame the cowlick that has now been passed to his son.  My girls were another story.  By the time they arrived, I had developed my skills way beyond what they were willing to let me try.  All in all, my daughters would always ask for my help when prom arrived.  Kate, my second daughter even started the booking process for the girls in her class.  I became so busy that I had to have an assistant book the appointments.  Proms led to balls, which led to weddings and that is where I am today.  I do consultations with women for whatever their needs may be.  The latest has been consultation for makeup application, style, and head shot.

Face Time

Macon's Wedding Ring had its' first bridal show of the year yesterday.  We had a great crowd and a fun time.  The group is comprised of professionals that work with weddings.  I was so thankful to have some face time with my clientele.  Brides that visited my booth were educated on the importance of customized glamour products for their special day.  We had discussions on their selection of correct color  for the wedding gown and the proper makeup that coordinates with their skin tones.  I look forward to working with some of these young women in preparing for their wedding day.

The day is always complete when the vendors spend time with other local vendors.  I enjoy all of my contemporaries, but yesterday was particularly fun visiting with Lisa Sheply, owner of Lisa Mae Cakes, Teddy Wohlford, Culinary Creations, Carmen Johnston of Nectar & Company, and Heather Mason with KH Mason Photography.  These vendors happened to be located near my booth which contributed to a fun day.  I'll be highlighting a few of the vendors on my blog, so stay tuned to read about your wedding professionals.

Just Another Pretty Face

Working with younger women is always rewarding to me.  Ashley is no exception.  She is truly a beautiful young woman on the inside as well as the outside.  I have had the priviledge to help Ashley prepare for several occasions.  She has been blessed with the gift of singing.  It is always a pleasure to be Ashley's makeup artist for all of her events.

What I Do

Makeup design for any occasion is what I do. I work with people of all ages, but it usually is for a special occasion even though it doesn't have to be. The new year can bring a new you. I believe you should ask yourself if you are wearing the colors that are best for you and bring out your unique look. As you look at your wardrobe for the changing trends in clothes, you should be looking at your glamour products to see if you have the colors that compliment your skin tone and eye color. Cosmetics change from season to season as does apparel, but your true colors will remain the same. There are certain colors that are best for your particular skin undertones. I've posted a few of my tools and a georgous model that was preparing for her wedding day.

I have been involved with makeup artistry for many years and have worked with prom queens, debutantes, brides, and career women of all ages. My joy and passion is helping you to find the best look that is customized for you. Consultation includes defining skin undertones that are unique to you and customizing your makeup. Whether it is a job interview, evening out, or the special day, your perfect color combination will make the difference.
